Hello! I’m Sarah, the founder of The Shires Larder. I live locally with my husband, Martin, and my children.
Our Mission
As well as my passion for food, I really want to fill a gap in our market town and give people a reason to shop local for good, tasty products. At the same time, we support independent, local suppliers who provide wonderful products which can’t necessarily be bought on the high street. At The Shires Larder we have a passion for good food and excellent service.
As a small business, we would like to build a community for local people who love local produce and hope to become part of your weekly shop. We will put the personal touch back into your shopping experience.
Our Values
By shopping local, you’ll be reducing the distance that your food travels hence lowering its carbon footprint. Along with using wicker and recycled paper, instead of plastic, our aim is to also minimise packaging wherever we can.
In Lincolnshire, we grow and produce a vast amount of food and many of my suppliers tell me that they do not currently stock anywhere in the local area, so we’d love to provide everyone with the opportunity to be able to access these locally made products.
